The thing about the trail idea is the fact that it doesn't make you immune to experience combat. If you control without a trace, you're pretty much can kill someone and not face the consequences. But i understand where you are coming from, the thing is such a plan will never be possible for you to control someone outside of your range (we have pre-made rules as staffers to determine the range, and territory abilities can only possess expansive ranges, and not even an S class can display something beyond a mile - It would be considered OP. Your request is to control from Earth while it's in another realm, and without a trace)

I trust in you in having no trace, a string or even a haze, that the person with "equal" perception can find out this person is possessed without a trace (unless it is their ability to trace spiritual activity things of course, which is something we cannot prevent since it is their ability's primary effect; tracing). A level of invisibility can still exist in this case.

At this current stage, at D class, he has to be very close to his puppet npc. Overtime, he can expand the range, but cannot break the rules in set in our staff board to determine the ceiling (in this case it's range).

Control stat: The point in having it is to do things that are costly and feel unaffected by it. Your ability allows you to do costly things (these +1s, +2s are already determined in our official static power cieling rules in the staff forum so that we don't get confused or make bad decisions or decisions that should be costly but are not. This solution fixes everything in a universal manner without stress put into play). So yes, Control will be important for this character in particular. Because you are doing something that is prolong/time-consuming. Planning to increase your Control (which increases your reserves and ability to consume more energy than those equal to or more than your rank) that's all up to you. You decide when it's all said and done.

Lastly: You don't want your NPC puppets to have stats? It makes sense if you control PC and this doesn't apply, but if you request to have none of your NPC to use their own stats (which you have reign over since not all npc have the same stats) then that's ok with me. This means they are basically of E-class for everything, and basically be useless in combat (if combat isn't your key goal having these puppets in the RP when you gain the chance to possess them, then I understand to the fullest now). Since you'll need your NPC to carry stats to take notice what they can do, know that this request will make.

If your goal is to possess one person, even at S class and still be one person, would you want your stats to transfer? Or is this an ability that simply has no focus for combat or self-defense purpose? But solely based on the plot that he can simply possess a soul?
