“‘If she really did it’, huh? Trying to throw me under the bus now, dear?”Walking ahead of her principal, Sayuri lightly dropped her hand upon the woman’s shoulder.
“I’m not giving up easily. I’m giving up on something that’s inevitable. Look into his eyes and tell me you think there’s a chance he’ll budge. Shittoryu-sama’s already made up his mind about this.”With that, she stepped in line once more. Led by the headmaster, Sayuri would inevitably find herself at the detention room. There were few in the room she recognized, fewer still she’d actually spoken too. Tasui-san and Toshige-san were well known delinquents within the school. The spirit couldn’t help but give the principal an incredulous look. What exactly was she supposed to learn from the boys? She was better than them at being good, better at being bad, better at books, better at sports. There wasn’t a single field in which they trumped her. Unless she was learning how to be mediocre, there was nothing these boys could teach her. Well, it wasn’t as if the school’s principal knew that, right? No, she kept her wide breadth of skills to herself. With a shrug of her shoulders, she dismissed the comment and continued to survey the room.
She knew nothing of the first girl her eyes landed on, and knew even less about the third male in the room. Fudomaki-san, however, she was well aware of. The moment their eyes connected Sayuri’s demeanour shifted ever so slightly. Lightly veiled hostility sat underneath veneer of civility.
“Fudomaki-chan, classy as ever, I see.”Her arms crossed underneath her small bosoms as she walked to her seat with a slight swaying of her hips. Sitting in the chair directly behind the crass adolescent, Sayuri crossed one leg over the other and leaned in, bracing herself against the table with her forearms.
“Heard you were rolling around with your favourite teacher this morning. So, how was she? She make you scream out her name? You know, I don’t judge.”A vulpine grin etched itself into her face as she spoke.
